Health and Safety (Offences) Act Amends Section 33 of the Health and Safety At Work Act (HASAWA) 1974, to raise the maximum penalty available in the lower courts to £20,000 for most safety offences, and make imprisonment an option for more breaches	Came into force on January 16 2009
